Bougainvillean women leaders gathered to celebrate the National Womens Day celebrations organized by Bougainville Womens Federation at Kuri lodge today.
The theme of the day is ‘Digit ALL Innovation & Technology for Gender Technology” empowering the agriculture sector, economic development and good governance.
All participants had insights on the power of information communication technology (ICT) on how to integrate to improving agriculture, economic development and development in good governance.
Three panel of discussion will see first panel on topic of use of communication technology in agriculture chaired by Stella Waineti and panelist Member for Central Womens Representative Hon Geraldine Paul and Minister for Department of Primary Industries.
Second panel on topic of use of communication technologies in economic development panelist Julie Moroko, SME owner and Belinda Maree Gara, Team leader Bougainville Partnership chaired by Mr David Haputo.
And the third panel on the topic on use of communication technologies in Development in Good Governance panelist included Stephanie Elijah Deputy Chief Secretary Policy and Ariana as head of Missing Persons Link here in Bougainville chaired by moderator Catherine Pukena Gender officer, Department of Community Development.
