Many candidates on Bougainville both Regional and open seats have not really gone out to the voters to campaign due to party supports coming very late.
New Dawn FM has noted aggressive campaigns by sitting members and the former Regional member, JOE LERA and the former ABG President CHIEF DR JOHN MOMIS who have nearly reached the entire population.
New Dawn FM has been talking to many candidates who are yet to get funding support from their political parties.
Also Political support by Party leaders are needed to boost their campaign profiles.
New Dawn FM has also noted party leaders like SIR PETER IPATAS, Prime Minister, HON JAMES MARAPE have already attended party rallies in both BUIN and BUKA.
Two more big names, the former Prime Minister PETER O’NIEL and Opposition leader, HON BELDEN NAMAH will still come to support their candidates.
News has already reached Buka that the Opposition leader, BELDEN NAMAH will address his party rally in Buka town’s BEL ISI Park this Friday.
