210122WARD MEMBER TO DISTRIBUTE TANKS TOMORROW

The ward member for Buka town west, Ward 2, MRS JANET TSIGOTO will be distributing ten water 9,000 litres water tanks tomorrow at TOROGEHALA section 4 of Buka town west 2 ward in Buka town.
In making the announcement on New Dawn FM, MRS TSIGOTO said recipients of these water tanks will sign agreement or bylaws for the ward before they are given the water-tanks.
She said this is to make sure the water-tanks are used by the community who need drinking water and also to make sure they are not sold for monies.
MRS TSIGOTO said that these are the tanks given by the Member for North Bougainville in August, 2021.
She said they were not distributed earlier because some roofing iron and gutters to install these water tanks were not supplied with the tanks.
The ward member said they initially requested for twenty tanks which were approved but were not supplied.
She said they had to distribute the first ten tanks because of the rainy season so that the community can start collecting some rain water with the supplied tanks.
MRS.TSIGOTO thanked the member for North Bougainville, Hon WILLIAM NAKIN and his committee for helping these disadvantaged communities.
