The one week conference was an eye-opener for the youths who learned a lot from the presenters at the convention.
The Chief from the area said that many say Youths are the future but do nothing to train the youths to become good future leaders.
He thanked FR. WILLIAM SATSI for organizing the convention and thanked presenters like the Mabiri Juvenile centre, Good Shepherds, Magistrate David Maliku and other groups that participated at the convention.
Member representing the Central Bougainville women, MARCHELIN KOKIAI thanked the youths especially the girls for participating at the Convention.
She said that activities like these can make them learn many basic things that are useful now and in the future.
The conference was funded with funds raised by the youths themselves with contributions from the diocese office and were assisted with food and kind from the member representing the women of Central Bougainville.
