091216ARAWA HOSPITAL STILL THE BEST
By Aloysius Laukai in Arawa
Arawa District Hospital is still providing the best health services despite its capacity problem with limited staff.
This is from the head of medical services at Arawa, DR. JOE POTEN VILOSI.
Speaking to New Dawn FM in Arawa, DR. VILOSI said that his staff are committed despite difficulties which includes funding and staff.
He said with the establishment of the Arawa School of Nursing last year they hope to increase and replace aging staff which have continued to keep the services going despite their age.
DR. VILOSI said that despite all these set backs, Arawa Hospital has two resident doctors supporting him in providing medical services.
Meanwhile a New Dawn Staff who was admitted to the Hospital could not believe at the fast actions by a Doctor who was on hand on arrival.
Compared with other hospitals Doctors are hard to find during emergencies.
