150317COVEC APPEALS FOR SUPPORT
By Aloysius Laukai
Covec Construction company working on the SIXTY KILOMETER Kangu to Toimanapu road is appealing to the public of Bougainville to respect their Survey Pegs, Kilometre Markers and Survey Stations and not to remove them.
They made the appeal today in Buin after their work is continuously destroyed by travellers between Kangu and Sigabai river near Buin town.
The management of Covec PNG says that its is disturbing to learn that their work is continuously damaged making them doing the same work all the time.
AND they are also appealing to the chiefs of MALABITA, LAGUAI,NAKARO and KARARU villages to talk to their youths to refrain from damaging these markers.
They say this is for the development of the road in South Bougainville and all must support this work.
New Dawn FM understands similar call has been made in the past by RAIBRO Construction for the public not to destroy their markers in the Buin town streets.
