Thanks Laukai for the picture, it is truely worth a thousand words. The current Bougainvillian politicians, both local and national have been influenced by PNG politics. They are now handing cheques, coming up with projects and funding projects that have been discussed over a can of SP. They are knowingly or refusing to acknowledge that there is a delivery service available called the PUBLIC SERVICE (SERVANTS) that are being paid to make things happen. Instead, a politician travels overseas to purchase the ship, a politician decides how their DSIP funds will be spend.

It is when politicians truely know their roles and responsibilities and their BOUNDARIES that MILLIONS will stop floating. I hope the K100 MILLION promised by the National Government does not float away as well.

For the time being it is stuck on the reef, is it possible to sell it for scrape metal so that at least only a few hundred thousand kina floats away?

I think these are all band aid solutions. Therefore, these ships are proving to be more of a problem themselves rather than solutions. Please learn and make real investments. Buy a new ship and have it managed by a proper management company. Bougainvilleans in the atolls need this service. We will continue to have these sort of problems if such purchases are politically motivated and without people in mind

That former ABG minister who bought this lemon is so stupid he is now contesting the North Bougainville seat. No shame and sense of responsibility and accountability. He is a heartless animal who refuses to be a solution to the problems our people are facing. Everything is all about him and not the people.

Absolute stupidity!
