Men must support women
By Veronica Hannette
All men have been challenged to support women in all their activities. The call was made by the UN Technical Advisor, Anthony Agyenta. He says women have been neglected for too long.
The call was made today during the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the United Nations Security Council resolution in Buka today. All intellectuals have also been requested to assist women in their work.
Minister for Community Development Rose Pihei should expect more work as women are now aware of their rights under the resolution.
More Women need to be educated.

there are many bougainvillean women who have been successful, and all of them are women who are very well educated....they have degrees in very specialist areas,,,, they do not neccesary need man to support,,,BUT they need parents to chart a path for them, by encouraging them to hold education close to their heart, stop home brew brew,, stop too much socialising, concentrate long skul and aim to succeed, BECAUSE EDUCATION IS KEY in everythiing!!!!I know because I have destroyed poverty in my personal life by embracing education,,,,,
Now I can enjoy a good quality of life because I accepted the classroom as my refuge in th midst of poverty within my large family, where resources were stretched to the extreme limit.....
So woman, embrace education, encourgage each other to hold education close to your heart,,,,
read,,,,read,,,,read,,,,,write,,,,,write,,,,write,,,,enjoy!

I spoke about this with both of my women.
One laughed - the other went away.
Perhaps this is good for intellectuals like UN Technical Advisor, Anthony Agyenta - so he should do it.
