This web site has been established to tell you about the work of New Dawn FM, a pioneering radio station in the Autonomous Province of Bougainville.
Most of the people who read this site will not be able to tune in to New Dawn FM. But we will keep you informed of developments and, who knows, one day we may even be able to offer you a live feed of our programs.
Like New dawn FM itself, this site will gradually develop over the coming weeks and months. Bear with us during this initial phase and return occasionally to check on how we're doing.
We'd also like to receive your comments.
Congratulations to New Dawn for winning the international award. Viva Bougainville.
Along this way, I am searching for email address of Mike Forster, the Bougainville delegate to United Nations. Hi Mike, this Ottis Simopiaref. I really would like to have contact with you but lost your email address. My email address is osimopiaref2000addyahoo.com I am looking very much forward to hearing from you.
From West Papua.

Thank you New Dawn. I can keep up to date with what is happening at 'home' and know that what is reported is honest and authentic.

Bougainville does not have to apologise about the size of its donation to the bushfire fund. From a country which is battling to rebuild itself it is an amazingly generous donation.
It is the per capita equivalent of the USA donating K60Million
